INSURANCE CLAIM
We maintain mutual security for every vehicle that has received financing facilities from PT SINARMAS HANA FINANCE by covering the vehicle with insurance throughout the loan tenor.
1. Types of Insurance
You can choose the following types of insurance to cover your vehicle:
- Comprehensive
Comprehensive car insurance can be defined as 'all risk' insurance. This means the insurance company will pay claims for all types of damage, from minor damage to severe damage, caused by unintentional accidents, to loss (not due to rental or lending). Does not include damage due to riots or natural disasters. - Total Loss Only (TLO)
An insurance that provides protection for cars from the risk of loss. TLO guarantees risk due to theft and damage if the repair cost is estimated to be equal to or exceeds 75% of the vehicle's value immediately before the loss. - Combination
An insurance combination of Comprehensive and Total Loss Only. The first year of coverage used is Comprehensive, while the following year is Total Loss Only.- Compensation from the insurance company for Total Loss Only claim conditions is equal to the market value of the vehicle before the theft or damage occurred.
- In connection with the financing facility, if there is a Total Loss Only claim payment from the insurance company, PT SINARMAS HANA FINANCE has the first right to receive that payment.
- PT SINARMAS HANA FINANCE will return the remaining claim funds received from the insurance company to the consumer, after deducting all consumer obligations.
- If the claim payment amount is less than the obligation, the difference becomes the responsibility of the consumer.
- Repair of vehicle damage that is insured must be done at a repair shop designated by the insurance company.
Insurance that has been paid cannot be canceled even if early repayment has been made.
2. Insurance Claims
In general, if a consumer intends to file an insurance claim, they must report the claim case to the relevant insurance company or PT SINARMAS HANA FINANCE within a maximum period of 72 hours (3x24 hours) after the incident.
Vehicle Loss Claims (theft / damage ≥ 75%)
- Must report the incident to the claims department of the insurance company or PT SINARMAS HANA FINANCE maximum 3x24 hours.
- Documents that need to be completed by the consumer are:
- Proof of report from the local police
- Original vehicle registration (STNK)
- Original and duplicate vehicle contact keys
- Photocopy of driver's license and insured's ID card
- Claim form from the insurance company
- Blocking letter (if only for stolen vehicles)
- Form A (if any)
Accident Claims
- Must report the incident to the claims department of PT SINARMAS HANA FINANCE maximum 3x24 hours.
- Submit a claim with the following documents:
- Photocopy of vehicle registration (STNK)
- Photocopy of driver's license when the accident occurred
- Photocopy of insured's ID card
- Claim form from the insurance company
- Other documents if needed
- Additional documents:
- Receipt of report from the police (if there is engine damage or accessories that are quite severe)
- Theft of vehicle accessories such as side mirrors, car stereo, dashboard, etc.
- Claim letter from a third party for losses involving third parties.
Please note that while the vehicle is in the claim process or is being examined further, the consumer is obligated to continue making installment payments without any exceptions.
