Bekasi, October 14, 2025 – PT Sinarmas Hana Finance reaffirmed its commitment to supporting the national financial literacy and inclusion program by organizing a Financial Education Seminar for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) fostered by the Cooperatives and MSME Office of Bekasi Regency. The event was held at STIE BII Bekasi, carrying the theme “A Prosperous Future Through Financial Planning.”

This initiative aligns with Otoritas Jasa Keuangan (OJK/Financial Services Authority) Regulation No. 3 of 2023 and POJK No. 19 of 2025 concerning the enhancement of financial literacy and inclusion. These regulations encourage Financial Service Providers (PUJK) to actively conduct financial education activities at least once per semester, particularly targeting the MSME sector as a priority segment.

The event was officially opened by Mr. Agus Dwi Riyanto, ST., M.Si., Head of the Micro Enterprise Empowerment Division at the Cooperatives and MSME Office of Bekasi Regency, who expressed his appreciation to PT Sinarmas Hana Finance for its contribution in improving MSME players’ understanding of financial management.

A welcoming address was also delivered via video by Mr. Hoonkyu Park, CEO of PT Sinarmas Hana Finance, who emphasized the company’s strong commitment to continuously providing financial education and guidance for business owners across Indonesia to enhance their competitiveness.

Prof. Dr. Ir. HM. Yani Syafei, MT, CSBA, Chairman of STIE BII Bekasi, also delivered remarks, highlighting the importance of collaboration between academia, local government, and the financial sector in building a resilient MSME ecosystem.

The seminar featured four speakers who shared insights on various financial topics:

• Ms. Agustina Dwi Mrabawani – “Financial Literacy and Consumer Protection”
• Ms. Clara Claudya – “Introduction to OJK and the Financial Services Industry”
• Mr. Heri Rahmadyanto – “Understanding Financial Service Provider Products”
• Ms. Silvia Usman – “Financial Management, Taxation, and Basic Accounting”

The event ran smoothly and was filled with enthusiasm from participants who actively engaged in discussions on business financial management. Through this program, MSME participants are expected to enhance their financial literacy, better understand formal financial products and services, and develop sustainable financial planning for their businesses.
